Therapy can be the first step towards feeling more like you again.
It can also feel like a very daunting step particularly if you have not had therapy before. Maybe you have never spoken about some of these issues, maybe you have never even thought about some of these issues. It can then feel quite strange to do so with someone you have never met before - your therapist.
Therapy is about much more than a "place to vent," or a "listening ear." Therapy can provide the support you need to help you find your way towards feeling more like you again. Therapy provides us a valuable and dedicated time in our lives to connect to ourselves in deeper, more profound and meaningful ways. This can improve the relationships in our life – with others, the world around you and, most importantly, yourself.
